Integrating Chatbot with Zendesk

Setting Up Zendesk

In order to set up the Zendesk integration for your bot, you’ll need the following:

  • A Zendesk URL
  • A Zendesk Username
  • A Zendesk Token

How to get Zendesk URL, Username and Token

  • Login to your Zendesk account and note your Domain URL eg: https://youraccount.zendesk.com and UserName eg: username@domain.com
  • Go to Settings, Select Channels > API, Enable Token Access and get your Token. 

Configuring Zendesk in AmplifyReach

  1. Goto AmplifyReach Dashboard -> CRM -> Zendesk
  2. Goto Configuration tab
  3. Enter the Zendesk URL, Username and Token in Configuration
  4. Your setup is done. You will be able to see the chats and contacts in Zendesk.

How to view Tickets

  • Login to your Zendesk account.
  • After successful login, you will get redirected to the following screen.
  • If you want to see contact please use the URL: https://{{your subdomain}}.zendesk.com/people.
  • Click on contact to view the ticket created for that contact.
  • Click on Ticket to see the chat transcript.
